Welcome to 1st Crownhill Scout Group

Our Scout Group is run by a dedicated group of volunteers who give their time freely for the benefit of Scouting in Plymouth. Our aim is to fulfil the purpose of the Scout movement by promoting the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national, and international communities.

We can offer your child lots of activities, fun, new adventures and challenges. Your child will be encouraged to join in all the activities we have to offer and gain as much out of it as they can. For details of the various section meetings please follow the appropriate link or Icon.

First Crownhill Scout group are based at Endeavour Hall Dayton Close Crownhill. Endeavour Hall is situated at the back of the fire station and opposite the police station.

1st Crownhill is one of the larger Scout Groups within the Plymouth District and currently operates 2 Beaver Scout Colonies, 2 Cub Scout Packs, 1 Scout Troop and 1 Explorer Unit. To belong to the group a subscription is charged on a School Term basis. The current cost per term is £22.00 (£25.00 from Sept 09). Attendances at Camp and weekend activities attract an additional cost, which are advised at the appropriate time. All children are required to wear the standard Scout uniform appropriate to their section. (see group information).
